M.Y. 2025
The Association Community 156 is organizing the third edition of the international high school art mural competition, M.Y. – Murals of Youth, taking place from August 29th to 31st, 2025, at Unirii Square in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

The participants will create artworks on OSB panels, each measuring 5×2.5 meters, using washable paint/brushes/rollers/spray paint.
Prizes will be awarded: I, II, III.
For the creation of one artwork (one panel), a maximum of two individuals are allowed, who will work together to complete the art piece.

Launch of Competition Invitations: March 18, 2025

Submit sketches (scaled simulations), portfolios, and registration details.

Selection of Participants for the Final Phase: August 2025

Selection conducted by a jury of 4 members (artists, designers, architects or teachers).

Announcement of Selected Participants: August 2025

Participants invited to the final event in Cluj-Napoca.

Final Phase – Creation of Artworks: August 29–31, 2025, at Unirii Square, Cluj-Napoca

Eligibility Requirements

Open to high school students (grades IX–XII) from Romania and internationally.

Minors must be accompanied by a teacher or adult during the competition.
Execution & Logistics

Participants in the final phase are responsible for their travel expenses.

Accommodation for students and accompanying teachers/parents (if applicable) will be provided at student dormitories.

Artworks will be created on OSB panels prepared by the organizers.

All working materials (paints, brushes, protective gear) will be provided by the organizers.

Participants are encouraged to bring personal materials or tools if they wish to customize their work further.
